The League of Ohio Sportsmen is one of the oldest sportsmen's groups in the United States. Founded in 1908, the League has promoted fish and wildlife conservation, and numerous education programs for school children, hunters, anglers, and the general public.

The League has a long history of political action working to ensure the future of Ohio's natural resources, and people's access to enjoy it. The League has protected sportsmen's and gun owner's rights, and advocated for sound fish and wildlife management.
