We want to make sure that your members and community partners are able to take advantage of the free resources associated with this film partnership:
*My Terra Contest for Kids:
One of the best opportunities for affiliates is to promote the My Terra Contest which gets kids outside and thinking about their special places in nature. Kids can win wonderful prizes that reinforce the joy of being outdoors - a two week outdoor experience in northern California learning about conservation and making a difference such as conducting stream restoration with Trout Unlimited. Younger children may win a digital camera and a day for his or her family with a wildlife photographer. For information about the contest and to download an entry form go to http://www.nwf.org/battleforterra. Kids can enter online at http://www.battleforterra.com/. Feel free to link to the pages or contact us if you would like a banner ad to use on your web page or in emails to your constituents.
*Battle for Terra Activity Guide:
Be sure to let your constituents know about the downloadable Activity Guide for families with extensions for educators. Also, feel free to use any of the activity pages in your events and outreach. You can find the activity guide at http://www.nwf.org/battleforterra/.

National Wildlife Federation and
Roadside Attractions have teamed up to bring
you Battle for Terra, an inspiring 3D animated
movie where characters fight for the survival
of a special place.
Battle for Terra tells
the story of Senn (Justin Long) and Mala (Evan
Rachel Wood), two teens who live happily on the
beautiful and peaceful planet Terra. Then Terra
is invaded by humans looking for a new home
because Earth has been destroyed. Mala makes
friends with an injured human pilot (Luke
Wilson). Together, they learn that their
survival and their worlds's natural
resources are now in great danger.
The partnership with this film is timely
and underscores the limits of our planet, that
our resources are not inexhaustible. The film
also celebrates the benefits of living
connected to our natural resources on which all
life depends.
How you can help:
-Tell your friends
to see the movie opening weekend; opening May
1st!
-My Terra Contest for kids: tell your
friends and local schools about the contest
(NOTE: The children of NWF staff are not
