Please email and call your Senators. Send them a copy of the dear colleague and remind them they signed before and of the April 17th deadline.

Please help the secure greater funding for state wildlife agencies to implement their state wildlife action plans and prevent wildlife from becoming endangered.  Teaming with Wildlife's annual campaign to increase funding for the State Wildlife Grants program is focused now on getting Senators to sign the dear colleague asking for $85 million back to the states. Please call your Senator asap. Deadline for signatures is April 17th (NEXT WEEK).

 

The letter is being circulated by Senators Lincoln (D-AR) and Crapo (R-ID).  In the past we have had over 60 Senators sign on but there was a delay this year and only five have done so.  THIS FUNDING IS CRITCAL to state agencies. It is the only federal funding aimed at preventing wildlife from becoming endangered --- this can be used to help them start working on the threats related to climate change.
