Policy Solutions Guide
This report describes numerous policy initiatives that have been launched tat the state and local level. This report contains a comprehensive review of leading state and local policy initiatives from across the country, and provides a model governor's proclamation, executive order, and legislative act. Many creative policy initiatives have been launched spanning the policy areas of education, public health, parks and recreation, and the built environment.
Now there is a single document that brings these policies together, and synthesizes them into model policies that you can adapt and modify to meet the needs in your state.
NWF staff member Allen Cooper is the author of the report, and he is available if you have questions, or if you would like assistance developing a state campaign for children and the outdoors. He can be reached at coopera@nwf.org. Thank you for all your work on behalf of children and the outdoors.
