Alabama Wildlife Federation Educator Workshops

workshops this summer and the cost per person
is only $35, which includes lodging and meals!

Wildlife Management for Alabama Agriscience Educators (June 9-11) - Alabama agriscience educators will learn about wildlife management practices as well as a variety of activities that they can take back to their students.
Developing a Youth Gardening Program Workshop (June 17-18) - If you are would like to learn how to incorporate gardening into your school's curriculum, then don't miss this workshop.
Discovering Our Heritage through the Outdoors (June 22-25) - Learn about the Discovering Our Heritage program, which integrates environmental education activities into history, geography, science, mathematics, and language arts on a day-to-day basis. Participants will receive training in resources such as Discovering Alabama, Project WILD, and Project Aquatic WILD.
Discovering Alabama's Aquatic Ecosystems Workshop (July 14-16) - Get your feet wet with us as we focus on the value and importance of Alabama's aquatic ecosystems, look at some of the organisms that call Alabama's water home, and learn how to conduct water quality assessments.
Discovering Alabama's Archaeological Past (July 21-23) - Come join us as we explore the past through a program called Project Archaeology, including using hands-on activities such as making plant dyes, pottery making, and point knapping.
