Great American Backyard Campout  

The Great American Backyard Campout is a one-night event for families, youth and individuals to camp out in their backyards or local parks and to discover the fun of being in the great outdoors. Visit http://www.backyardcampout.org/ to learn about this event!

Even if it’s too late to plan a Campout in your community, you can still connect with others who may be planning to camp. Connecting with Campout partner sites is a great way to develop relationships on the local level as well and support a unique event that encourages spending time outdoors.
